Overview

My Company is needing to recruit an experienced laundry and ironing professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and prior experience in washing and ironing. This position is based at a private clients property and has an excellent set up for all responsibilities expected within this role. A small amount of housekeeping is required from time to time also.

Its an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment where quality and efficiency are highly valued. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring all laundry items are impeccably cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards.

Duties

Efficiently sort, wash, and dry a variety of textiles using commercial laundry equipment
Iron, press, and fold garments and linens to meet quality standards
Ensure all laundry is handled with care to prevent damage or colour bleeding
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area at all times
Monitor laundry cycles and troubleshoot any operational issues promptly
Collaborate with housekeeping and cleaning team to ensure timely delivery of clean linen and clothing
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment
Keep accurate records of laundry loads and processing times
A good judge of different types of materials and how to wash them and decide what is needed for dry cleaning.

Experience

Prior experience in laundry operations within a prefesshional environment is highly desirable
Proven ability to operate laundry machines and pressing equipment efficiently
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality presentation of finished items
Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under time constraints
Knowledge of different fabrics and appropriate handling techniques is advantageous

This role is ideal for a dedicated professional seeking to utilise their laundry expertise within a domestic home environment.. Applicants should demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
