People & Operations Coordinator

Manchester | £35,000

We’re looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused People & Operations Coordinator to join Mis-Sold Expert and play a key role in keeping our growing Manchester team running smoothly.

Mis-Sold Expert is growing quickly, operating in one of the UK's biggest consumer finance claims opportunities. Our teams are energetic, ambitious and driven to deliver great results for our customers — and we’re looking for someone who can help create an environment where our people can do their best work.

The Role

You’ll be the person who helps keep the people and operational side of the business moving.

No two days will look exactly the same. One day you could be organising a team event, supporting recruitment activity or helping a new starter settle in; the next you could be coordinating office suppliers, supporting the leadership team or making sure everything is in place for an important meeting.

It’s a role that requires someone who is naturally organised, enjoys taking ownership and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get things done.

Core Responsibilities

People & Culture

Provide day-to-day administrative support across People and HR activities
Help organise onboarding and ensure new starters have everything they need
Support internal communications and team updates
Help create a positive, energetic and inclusive office culture
Maintain accurate people records and documentation
Support employee engagement initiatives and company-wide activities

Leadership & Executive Support

Provide general administrative support to the leadership team
Coordinate meetings, diaries and ad-hoc requests where required
Support internal projects and operational initiatives
Take ownership of ad-hoc tasks and make sure they get followed through
Help keep priorities organised in a fast-moving environment

Office & Operations

Coordinate office supplies, equipment and facilities
Help maintain a professional, organised and welcoming working environment
Support office events, meetings and team days
Identify opportunities to improve how the office operates
Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day office queries
Help ensure the team has everything they need to work effectively

About You

We’re looking for someone who is naturally organised, dependable and enjoys making things happen.

You’ll probably be someone who:

Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Takes ownership rather than waiting to be asked
Can manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
Is confident communicating with people at all levels
Has a friendly, approachable and helpful personality
Is comfortable working independently and using initiative
Enjoys working in a fast-paced, ambitious environment

Previous experience in People, HR, office management, operations, recruitment administration or executive support would be useful, but personality, organisation and attitude are just as important.
