Full job description

Clearwell Mobility is the South East's leading retailer of mobility aids for the elderly and less able. Established in 2004 we have 11 showrooms and are now recruiting for a friendly Field Service Engineer to provide support to our customers on a wide range of mobility equipment and stairlifts.

Most of the work takes place at customer's homes throughout East & West Sussex, Surrey and western parts of Kent. This is a crucial role for the company and for our customers who rely heavily on their equipment.

The hours are Monday-Friday 8.00am-4.00pm (40 hrs per week)

What you'll be doing:

Providing after sales care for mobility scooters, wheelchairs, stairlifts and other mobility aids
Visiting customers in their own homes to service, diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
Installation, servicing and maintenance of stairlifts and ramps
Ensure that all installations and repairs are completed to the highest safety and quality standards.
Manage workload effectively and ensure a timely delivery of services.
Keep accurate records of work completed, including job sheets and service reports.

What we're looking for:

Strong technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Basic understanding of DC electrical circuits and simple testing procedures is an advantage
Good communication skills - written, listening and verbal – ability to deal with mainly elderly and disabled customers in an empathetic and patient manner
Able to work under pressure
Full valid UK driving license (less than 6 points)
Clean DBS record
