Full job description

Data Analyst

Location: Kolorcraft Head Office

Hours: 2.5 days per week (interim) – Days and time to be discussed at interview.

Note - This role may become a full-time position in the future.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team, working two and a half days per week, reporting directly to the Head of Innovation, Simon Perks. This role is critical in transforming data into meaningful insights that drive operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will manage data collection, analysis, and reporting across multiple business areas, supporting process improvements and project delivery.

This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to work both remotely and on-site at our Ossett office.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Management
Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources (internal systems, reports, and external datasets).
Maintain accurate and up-to-date data records in line with company standards.
Analysis & Reporting
Analyse operational, financial, and project data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Produce clear, concise reports and dashboards for stakeholders, including senior management.
Support KPI tracking and performance measurement for projects and processes.
Process Improvement
Work closely with the Process & Project Manager to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
Provide data-driven recommendations to improve workflows and resource allocation.
Collaboration
Liaise with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored insights.
Assist in project planning and monitoring through accurate data analysis.
Person Specification:

Skills & Experience:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL).
Ability to interpret complex data and present findings in a clear, actionable format.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills for working with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications:

Degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Advantageous, but not essential.
Excellent advanced Excel skills.
Experience in a similar data-focused role within a fast-paced environment.
