Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks, supporting office operations, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and experience in office administration to contribute to a professional and dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for applicants with prior administrative experience.

Duties

Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing them appropriately
Organising and maintaining physical and electronic filing systems for easy retrieval of documents
Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars
Handling correspondence via email and postal mail efficiently
Supporting the preparation of reports, presentations, and other administrative documents
Managing office supplies inventory and placing orders as needed
Providing general clerical support including photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents
Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and organised at all times

Requirements

Proven office experience or administrative experience in a similar role
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute with high accuracy
Good communication skills with professional phone etiquette
Attention to detail in data entry and document management
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with clerical procedures and office management systems
Prior experience using data entry software or tools is desirable
