Sales Assistant

Dulux Decorator Centre Birmingham

£13.18 per hour plus Sales Based Bonus
20 hours per week

Job Purpose

You will play a key role in the success of your store by collaborating with instore colleagues and our UK Sales Team to provide a memorable customer experience to professionals & DIY enthusiasts. We will look to you to use your people skills to help maximize the sales and market share of AkzoNobel products and accessories in your store.

This is a 20 hr per week role, and you need to be available to work shifts between 7am and 5pm Mon-Fri. You will also work every Saturday 8am - 12pm.

Job Responsibilities

Play an active part in engagement planning & monthly store meeting sessions.
Ensure customers receive a warm welcome, an informed conversation & personalized proposal.
Use our client service tools to ensure a consistent customer experience.
Support your store’s monthly customer contact plan.
Follow the merchandising plan to restock the shop floor
Develop your skills & encourage colleagues to do so using our training tools.

Work as a stand in Delivery delivery when required

Job Requirements

Proven experience in a customer service/retail role.
Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
Calm under pressure.

Full UK Manual Driving Licence, for occasional delivery driving.
