Overview

Join our dynamic team as an IT Support Specialist and become the vital link that keeps our technology running smoothly! In this energetic role, you will provide essential technical support to ensure seamless operations across hardware, software, and network systems. Your proactive approach will help resolve issues swiftly, empower users with effective solutions, and maintain the integrity of our IT infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while making a tangible impact on daily business functions.

Responsibilities

Deliver prompt and professional technical support to end-users via help desk tickets, phone, or in-person interactions.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
Diagnose and fix software problems across operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Manage computer networking components such as LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and switches to ensure secure connectivity.
Assist with software installations, updates, and configurations for various applications including Microsoft Office and specialized enterprise tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy.
Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations using ticketing systems.
Collaborate with team members to implement security measures and perform routine system maintenance to prevent downtime.

Experience

Proven experience providing technical support in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service excellence.
Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux; experience supporting multiple platforms is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting software issues related to productivity tools like Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to diagnose hardware failures related to computer hardware components and peripherals.
Experience using IT service management tools such as ServiceNow or BMC Remedy for ticketing; working knowledge of Jira is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
