Labourer/Yard Operative

PB Tyres (UK) LLP

PB Tyres are a commercial tyre wholesaler and one of the UK’s largest commercial tyre casing agents. We are looking for a Labourer/Yard Operative to join our team at our busy site based on the southern outskirts of Milton Keynes.

Duties will include:

· Loading and unloading truck tyres from commercial lorries and trailers

· Sorting and stacking of tyres

· Keeping the yard clean and tidy and a safe environment to work in

· General yard duties

The individual we are looking for must have the following attributes:

· Physically fit. (This is a labour-intensive role that includes lifting commercial tyres)

· Able to work well as part of a team

· Enthusiastic, conscientious, reliable and flexible

· Must work well under pressure

What we offer in return:

· £28,000 Per Annum Basic Salary

· 22 days annual holiday + Bank Holidays

· Contributory Pension Scheme

We are keen to develop our staff and would offer on job training to the right individual keen to learn new skills so they can progress within our business and build successful careers in a unique industry.

Please note: We are located in a remote location away from public transport routes so having your own transport is essential.

Hours of Work:

Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.30pm, Saturday 8.00am – 12.30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £28,000.00-£29,600.00 per year
