About the Role

We are looking for a confident, motivated and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join our team in Liverpool. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a graduate, career starter or ambitious individual looking to build practical experience in business development, sales, customer engagement and professional relationship management.

Full training and ongoing coaching will be provided, making this position suitable for candidates who are at the beginning of their commercial career as well as those with transferable customer-facing experience. You will develop an understanding of how businesses identify new opportunities, build customer relationships and support sustainable growth.

Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will gain practical experience in lead generation, customer communication, opportunity management, sales processes and business development activities. As your confidence and capabilities grow, you will have opportunities to take on greater responsibility and progress towards senior business development, account management and leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and support opportunities to develop new customer and business relationships.
Communicate professionally with prospective and existing customers to understand their requirements.
Support lead generation and follow-up activities to develop potential business opportunities.
Build and maintain positive professional relationships with customers and business contacts.
Present relevant products, services or business solutions clearly and professionally.
Respond to customer enquiries and provide accurate information in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, prospects, opportunities and follow-up activities.
Work closely with sales, marketing and operational teams to support business development objectives.
Monitor ongoing opportunities and provide relevant updates to experienced team members.
Participate in training and coaching to develop sales, communication, negotiation and leadership skills.

Requirements

Experience
