Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable All-Rounder Builder / Versatile Construction Handyperson to join our dynamic construction team. This role involves undertaking a variety of building, repair, and maintenance tasks across multiple trades. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set, be proactive, and capable of working independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality results on diverse projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to utilise their varied construction skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Carry out carpentry tasks including framing, fitting, and finishing work with precision and attention to detail
Conduct construction painting to prepare surfaces and achieve professional finishes
Undertake masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing
Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction activities
Fabricate custom components or modifications as needed for specific projects
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met efficiently

Requirements

Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, painting, & masonry
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Ability to undertake fabrication tasks with precision
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Good physical fitness with the capacity to lift heavy materials and work at heights when necessary
Flexibility to adapt to different roles within the construction environment
Relevant qualifications or certifications in trades are advantageous but not essential if demonstrated experience is substantial
A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
Valid UK driving licence

This role is suited for motivated individuals who take pride in their craftsmanship and are eager to expand their skills across various aspects of construction. We welcome applicants committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all aspects of their work.

Pay: £180.00 per day
