Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be adept at installing, repairing, and maintaining various plumbing fixtures and systems. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, to complete projects efficiently.
Adhere to safety regulations and building codes during all plumbing work.
Conduct heavy lifting as required for the installation of large fixtures or equipment.

Skills

Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues.
Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during installations.
Experience with commercial driving is advantageous for transporting equipment to job sites.
Familiarity with welding techniques is beneficial for certain plumbing applications.
Ability to plumb various types of fixtures including sinks, toilets, and showers.
Capable of assembling components efficiently while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Must have CSCS card, DBS and adiquate training for an plumber. MUST have own Van and tools.
