At Bowfield, our Health Club Receptionists are the heartbeat of the club – the first smile our members see in the morning and the friendly face that helps them throughout their visit.

What you’ll be doing:

Opening the club and creating a positive first impression every day
Greeting members and guests with genuine warmth and professionalism
Delivering excellent customer service and resolving queries or complaints with care
Assisting with membership administration and compliance tasks
Handling bookings for classes, crèche, and Active Kids activities
Answering calls and emails efficiently and with a personal touch
Carrying out tours for new members and signing them up with enthusiasm
Completing membership tasks using our systems with accuracy
Supporting daily audits and ensuring compliance is maintained
Keeping the club to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
Taking pride in close-down and cleaning duties at the end of each shift

A naturally friendly and approachable person who thrives in a member-facing role
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict calmly and professionally
Organised, reliable, and confident using booking and membership systems
A team player with a passion for health, fitness, and delivering a great member experience
