Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team! This vital role combines precise financial management with efficient office operations, ensuring the smooth running of daily activities and accurate financial record-keeping. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing accounts, maintaining financial accuracy, and supporting administrative functions that keep our business thriving. Responsibilities

Managing the firm's internal bookkeeping using QuickBooks
Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
Running the monthly payroll process.
Managing all aspects of invoicing and credit control.
Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office admin function.
Managing incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately.
Welcoming clients and visitors to the office.
Maintaining client records and administrative systems.
Providing general administrative support to the team as required.

Requirements

Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
Experience working in a small / medium size business.
Have experience processing payroll and preparing VAT returns.
Be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy office.
Have strong communication and customer service skills.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
