Quality and Compliance Administrator

Join Our Team

We're looking for a highly organized and proactive Quality & Compliance Administrator to support our Health & Safety function by ensuring compliance records, documentation, and processes are maintained to the highest standards.

A head office-based administrative role supporting the company’s Quality, Compliance, and Integrated Management Systems. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, contractors, and management to ensure documentation, policies, procedures, and compliance systems are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Support the company’s compliance activities across the business.
Maintain contractor compliance records and contractor approval schemes.
Ensure construction industry portals and compliance platforms are kept accurate and up to date.
Coordinate and support compliance audits.
Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
Work closely with engineers and operational teams to ensure compliance requirements are met. Quality
Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
Update and control company policies, procedures, and documentation.
Manage document control processes, ensuring all controlled documents remain current.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Attend and assist during quality and compliance audits. Knowledge & Experience Essential
Previous administrative experience within a quality, compliance, or health & safety environment.
Good understanding of document control and management systems.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems).
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Confident communicator who can liaise effectively with engineers, contractors, and management.
Assertive and proactive approach with the confidence to challenge where necessary.
High attention to detail.

About You

You'll be someone who enjoys working in a structured environment and has excellent attention to detail

You'll ideally have:

Previous experience in an Health and Safety compliance role.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good working knowledge of company membership portals ie CHAS elite, Constructionline Gold and SSi[
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
A professional and confidential approach to handling information.

Desirable:

Experience working within Health & Safety, Facilities, Construction, Engineering, or a regulated environment.
Knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems)
Awareness of ISO 45003 (Psychological Health, Safety and Wellbeing at work)
