We are looking for an experienced domestic/commercial heating Engineer with the following must have skills/qualifications -
*Gas safe registered in domestic gas
*FGAS be great
*Experienced in installing Gas boilers, combination swaps and conversions.
*Electrically competent within the heating industry- fault finding, safe isolation, wiring heating systems from the fuse spur ie s plans and alike.
Ideally some one who is qualified and experienced in -
*OFTEC registered and experienced in the installation, repair and service of oil appliances.
*Air source heat pump installer, repair and service.
*Commercial gas Gas safe registered.
*Commercial/Industrial gas engineer experienced in installation, service and repair of gas boilers, burners and warm air heaters (please see our separate job advert for commercially qualified engineers)
*Gas warm air heaters
*Commercial pipe fitter or can pipe fit if asked.
*Air conditioning

Hello my name is Andy I’m a director of Royal Boiler services Ltd and I’m looking for potentially 1 to 2 engineers to join my company.
We specialise in domestic commercial and renewable heating and air conditioning. (HVAC)
I am looking for someone who is experienced in domestic gas installation. We also have a large base of customers with oil boilers so experience and accreditation through OFTEC would be beneficial however we are happy to support the right candidate's training within this field. Over the past few years we have expanded into air source heat pumps and air conditioning and all of our engineers have completed the required training ( Bosch- Mitz )and are now successfully fitting, servicing and repairing air source heat pumps and air conditioning units.
Again ideally someone who has experience of renewable technology and or air conditioning would be a huge benefit to the company. For the right candidate we would be happy to support the necessary training in renewable energy installations. We continue to complete different training courses with different manufacturers as I believe as a technician an engineer we should be constantly updating our skills as even just that motivates ourselves and our job.
Our work is very varied from day today one day could be working in a domestic household installing a Worcester Bosch boiler to the next repair and service of a domestic boiler and the next installing an ASHP or Air con. Domestic and commercial.

We require an engineer who is experienced in installation and you must have a driven mentality, want to succeed in what you do. You must be a team player, self-motivated and wanting to learn new skills.

I believe in looking after my employees and they will look after me and also of course our whole point in being in business- THE CUSTOMER. I would like somebody who wants to stay with a company for years, who can really feel at home with what they do know who they are working with and go home happy. I’m looking to pay somebody anywhere between £38,000-£50,000 a year with over time plus bonus . We have our own bonus structure upon installing boilers and that gets shared between all of us. Any scrap metal copper same old goes into the joint pot for is all To do functions together . Our last one was go carting then meal and beers. We have a nice friendly culture here and finding someone who wants to be part of something and not just a number is key. Yes money is important, but it’s balance in life.
Contribution towards gym membership or equivalent at your choice of gym. This is paid from my own pocket every year from my employees to use at their own leisure.
Currently annual leave allowance is 22 days plus bank holidays per year we shut down at Christmas therefore you have the rest of the year to utilise your own holidays. For every year worked with royale UK and one extra days holiday.
Company pension in place with Nest.
Tracked company vehicle is issued to you and you do have the flexibility to use however will be charged for the mileage and fuel but I just need to point out having worked myself on numerous companies a lot of companies do not allow this however I do permit this as long as all mileage is recorded and paid for.
Ideally I’m looking for somebody around the Stoke-on-Trent/Newcastle under-Lyme Stone area due to where the majority of our work is. However we do have customers far and wide the length of the UK so having said this on occasion working at royale you will be required to stay away in hotels whilst carrying out work for example at the factory in Cardiff, or Swindon. As I’ve already pointed out our work is varied and although majority of our work is local we do have contracts that cover the full breadth of the UK.
