Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Deputy Service Manager to join our vibrant care team. In this vital leadership role, you will support the Service Manager in overseeing daily operations within a dynamic environment. Your passion for senior care, combined with your management expertise, will ensure the delivery of exceptional care services. You will play a key role in supervising staff, maintaining high standards of a variety of care, and fostering a warm, safe, and engaging atmosphere for our service users. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our service users while developing your leadership skills in a supportive setting.

Duties

Assist the Service Manager in coordinating daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
Supervise and support care staff, promoting best practices in both supported living and a variety of other care environments
Contribute to the development and review of personalized care plans tailored to each of our service users needs
Oversee medication administration procedures to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
Support staff training initiatives focused on Medication training, Autism, Complex Needs and home care techniques
Monitor quality standards and ensure adherence to health and safety policies across all departments
Lead by example in delivering compassionate, person-centered care that enhances well-being and dignity

Skills

Demonstrated management and supervising experience within a care setting
Knowledge of care planning processes, medication administration, and regulatory compliance
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, residents, families, and external professionals
Compassionate approach to Autism care related challenges with a focus on person-centered solutions
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
