Full job description

Helpful Home is a friendly, family-run domestic cleaning company based in Sale, South Manchester. We’ve been looking after local homes since 2010 and now clean 200+ houses a week across Sale, Altrincham, Urmston and Chorlton.

We’re known for being reliable and professional (the thing people struggle to find in cleaning) — and we’re proud of our supportive, down-to-earth team.

The role (summer position)We’re looking for reliable people to join us over the summer as Domestic Cleaners.

This is a seasonal role and is ideal if you’re looking for a steady summer income and daytime hours.This role is a great fit if you want:

A steady summer income
Work that keeps you active (no sitting behind a desk)
Hours that leave your afternoons/evenings free
A role where you can genuinely see the difference you’ve made

Students are welcome to apply, but we welcome applications from everyone.

Hours

Tuesday to Friday
Typical shift times: 9:00am–3:00pm (school hours)
Summer availability preferred (with the option to stay on longer if it suits both sides)

Pay

Competitive hourly pay (usual company rates)
Paid training

What you’ll be doing

Cleaning and tidying kitchens, bathrooms, living areas and bedrooms
Following a clear checklist and our quality standards
Working solo or as part of a small team, depending on the job
Being friendly and respectful in clients’ homes

What we’re looking for: You will need cleaning experience, but what matters most is:

Reliability (turning up on time, doing what you say you’ll do)
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good attention to detail
Pride in doing a job properly

What you’ll get

Location

We’re based in Sale and work locally within a 3-mile radius (Sale, Altrincham, Urmston, Chorlton).
