About TAG Renewables

TAG Renewables is a fast-growing, family-run renewable energy company based in Gloucestershire. We specialise in the installation of air source and ground source heat pumps, biomass heating systems, underfloor heating and air conditioning for both domestic and commercial customers.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Plumbing & Heating Installation Engineer to join our friendly and professional team.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and wants to build a long-term career with a company that genuinely values its employees.

The Role

As a Plumbing & Heating Installation Engineer, you'll be responsible for installing renewable heating and cooling systems across domestic and commercial properties throughout Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.

Your duties will include:

Installing air source heat pump systems
Installing ground source heat pump systems
Installing biomass heating systems
Installing split and multi-split air conditioning systems
Installing hot water cylinders and buffer tanks
Plant room pipework and heating system installations
Radiator and underfloor heating installations
General plumbing and heating pipework
Working from drawings and installation plans
Ensuring all installations are completed to the highest standard
Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
Representing TAG Renewables professionally on customers' sites

Please note: This is an installation-focused role. Commissioning and specialist setup will be carried out by senior engineers.

Essential Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience in plumbing and heating installation
Experience installing domestic and/or commercial heating and plumbing systems
Good understanding of plumbing and heating principles
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Experience

Experience installing air source heat pumps
Experience installing air conditioning systems
Experience with biomass heating systems
Experience installing underfloor heating
Experience with plant room pipework
Unvented Hot Water (G3) qualification (beneficial but not essential)

Experience with renewable technologies or air conditioning is advantageous but not essential. Full product training will be provided for the right candidate.
