Full job description

We are looking for a highly organised, patient-focused individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, coordinating patient transport services and ensuring an excellent experience for patients and healthcare partners.

Essential Criteria

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal confidently and professionally with patients, carers, healthcare staff and colleagues.
Strong customer service focus and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Ability to remain calm, professional and effective when working under pressure and managing competing priorities.
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong IT and keyboard skills, with the ability to accurately use scheduling and communication systems.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to process information accurately.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Flexible approach to working patterns and operational requirements.

Desirable Criteria

Experience in a customer service, healthcare, control room, scheduling or coordination role.
Experience of working with confidential information and maintaining discretion at all times.
Knowledge of patient transport services, resource allocation or operational planning.

This post is for 18 hours per week on a relief working basis depending on operational requirements. The position will be based within the RAH hospital discharge lounge.
