Location: Hybrid – Work from home and in Ipswich Office

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break (27.5 hours per week). Flexibility on hours.

Contract: Permanent, Part-Time

Salary: £19233.50 to £20234.50 dependent on experience/qualifications.

Job Description

Keys are seeking an organised and proactive Project Administrator to support our Independent Social Work Assessment Service.

This key role supports the coordination and delivery of assessment services, working closely with local authorities, independent social workers, solicitors and internal colleagues. You will manage enquiries, coordinate assessments, maintain compliance records and provide high-quality administrative support, ensuring a responsive and efficient service.

Working within a busy and supportive team, you will help ensure children, young people, families and adults have timely access to professional assessment services.

The Role

As a Project Administrator, you will:

Manage enquiries and assessment requests.
Coordinate assessment bookings and practitioner availability.
Monitor assessment progress and key deadlines.
Maintain accurate records, databases and compliance information.
Support the onboarding and ongoing compliance of independent professionals.
Prepare and distribute assessment-related documentation.
Liaise with local authorities, practitioners and other stakeholders.
Support invoicing, reporting and general service administration.
Handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
Support the continuous improvement of administrative processes.

Please note that this role may evolve to meet the needs of the service.

Requirements

Essential

Experience in an administrative, coordination or project support role.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competence in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience handling confidential or sensitive information.

Desirable

Experience working within social care, health, education or a related sector.
Knowledge of safeguarding and data protection requirements.
Experience supporting independent professionals or commissioned services.
Understanding of social work assessments and related processes.
