Job Overview

Founded in 2010, Burfield Financial Planning has earned a strong reputation for providing high-quality, personalised financial advice. Our team of four Advisers brings over 40 years of combined experience, specialising in retirement planning alongside a wide range of financial planning services.

We are looking for a proactive and organised Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team. Working closely with Advisers, Paraplanners, and fellow Administrators, you will play a key role in delivering excellent client service and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the business. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and build a rewarding career within a respected financial planning firm.

About the Role

Full-time, permanent position
Office-based in Northwich
Monday to Thursday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
Friday: 9:00am to 4:00pm
Friendly and supportive team environment

Responsibilities

Prepare annual review reports and complete review files in line with company procedures.
Obtain quotations, illustrations, and other pre-sale documentation.
Process new business applications across pensions, investments, and other financial planning products.
Maintain accurate client records on the back-office system.
Process client withdrawals and monitor cases through to completion.
Liaise with clients, advisers, and providers to ensure work is completed efficiently and on time.
Handle telephone enquiries and correspondence.
Assist with general administrative and office duties as required.

Ideal Requirements

Previous financial services administration experience is desirable.
Experience preparing valuations and client review reports would be advantageous.
Knowledge of Intelligent Office, Dynamic Planner, and Microsoft Office is beneficial.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Client-focused with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional and confident telephone manner.
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
