Full job description

The Company

Ad Hoc are the market leading provider of Property Guardian services in the UK. We also offer a range of digital and traditional security measures. This is a hugely exciting opportunity to join an ambitious, enthusiastic and passionate Birmingham team.

We are currently seeking a Property Inspector to come join our team on a part time basis. Main focus of the role would be to conduct monthly inspection reports on residential and commercial properties along with being a point of contact for any site visits by external contractors. Ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate the operational aspects of taking on and handing back properties.

This is mainly a field based role reporting to the Area Manager. You will be required to report back any findings and submit your paperwork to the office.

Main Responsibilities

Complete detailed and timely inspections on Guardian units & properties completing the appropriate corporate forms and adhering to all corporate guidelines. Inspections are to be assessed against the Guardian adhering to the Guardian Licence and known Health and Safety regulations.
Examine inspection reports, detect discrepancies and take corrective actions.
Promote Health & Safety best practices across all properties.
Manage and oversee property onboarding and hand-back processes.
Ensure buildings are ready for occupation - Test all services are operating in properties, all keys are present and correctly numbered, ensuring units are labelled correctly, take meter readings and flag debt on key meters or lack of meters etc.
Report issues and findings to the recruitment team/Branch coordinator.
Conduct Fire risk assessments where required
Manage the data inputting of all required information into CRM ensuring the information is correct and follow the correct company procedures

The Ideal Candidate:

Clean UK Drivers license
Experience of dealing with the public / customer service issues
Ideally previous experience in property inspections, compliance and Guardian housing.
A confident and well-spoken communicator
Able to prioritize and manage own workload and diary management
Able to remain calm and professional under difficult situations
