Solderer Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Solderer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electronic assembly processes, particularly in soldering components for various applications. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality, ensuring that all products meet our high standards.

Duties

Assemble electronic components using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precise soldering techniques are applied.
Work with surface mount technology (SMT) to assemble logic controllers and other electronic devices.
Conduct thorough inspections of completed assemblies to verify quality and adherence to specifications.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues that may arise during production.
Document production processes and report any discrepancies or defects in materials or components.

Qualifications

Proven experience in soldering and electronic assembly is highly desirable.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT) is an advantage.
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to electronic assembly tasks.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
