Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our team in various capacities, including full-time, part-time, casual, and night shifts. The role involves providing compassionate care and support to Adults with Learning disabilities within a residential setting. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine interest in supporting people with complex needs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly across different shifts. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on lives while developing professional skills within a supportive environment.

Duties

Offer personalised care and support in line with individual care plans
Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and recreational activities
Monitor behaviour and provide emotional support to promote wellbeing and development
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concerns
Drive to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation in residents own vehicle or homes vehicles.
Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure consistent care delivery
Uphold health and safety standards within the residential environment at all times

Requirements

Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely when required
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with families, and team members
IT literacy for maintaining records and completing documentation efficiently
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, or casual hours as needed
Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting people’s development
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment

Pay: From £13.45 per hour
