Full job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced duty manager to oversee our daily operation within our 107-bedroom hotel with a busy food and beverage operation. This is a hand on position, and the successful candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences, supervise staff whilst maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. The duty manager will be responsible for managing guest relations, coordinating and assisting departments and ensuring the smooth operational flow thought-out their shift. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality. Previous supervisory/ restaurant skill is preferred

Responsibilities

A hands-on approach with a visible presence thought-out the hotel

Excellent knowledge of the hotel operations including front of house, food and beverage, housekeeping, sales and events

Overseeing the daily operation of the hotel ensuring all department function efficiently

Assisting with the planning and running of events/ functions and weddings

Supervise, support and assist all departments as needed

Manage team members and motivate staff to deliver excellent hospitality

confidence to make decisions, solve problems and support staff

Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints

Monitor financial performance, wage cost and departmental profitability

Maintain compliance with health and safety, licensing laws and company polices

Build a strong relationship with guest, colleagues and supplies

Experience

Proven management experience within the hospitality industry or similar service orientated environment

Strong background in guest service with excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse team

The role is 40 hours per week including weekends straight shifts a mix of lates and early rota is done 4 weekly

Pay: From £13.32 per hour
