Events Supervisor

Are you an enthusiastic, organised, and customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering exceptional events? We're looking for an Events Supervisor to lead our events team, ensuring every guest enjoys an outstanding experience from start to finish.

About the Role

As an Events Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of events, ensuring smooth service, excellent customer satisfaction, and an engaged, motivated team.

You'll work closely with management to deliver memorable events while maintaining high standards of service, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and motivate the events team during service.
Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
Set up and prepare event spaces to company standards.
Ensure events run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
Coordinate with catering, kitchen, and other departments.
Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
Brief and support team members before and during events.
Ensure compliance with food hygiene, licensing, and health & safety procedures.
Complete opening and closing duties, including cash handling where required.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
Support recruitment, induction, and training of new team members.
Drive sales through upselling and promoting additional products and services.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience supervising within hospitality, catering, or events.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
A positive, proactive attitude.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Flexible approach to working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Essential
