About the Role

People operations becomes most valuable when employee information is accurate, processes move without unnecessary delays, and managers can rely on clear data when making workforce decisions.

As a People Operations Analyst, you will support the practical and analytical side of HR operations, maintaining employee records, preparing workforce reports, coordinating lifecycle processes, and identifying where administrative workflows can be improved.

The role combines detailed data work with day-to-day employee operations. You may spend the morning checking workforce reports and resolving discrepancies, then move on to preparing onboarding information, reviewing absence trends, or helping improve an HR process that is creating unnecessary manual work.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate employee information within HR and people-management systems.
Prepare regular workforce reports covering headcount, turnover, absence, recruitment, and employee changes.
Review HR data for inconsistencies and investigate missing or inaccurate information.
Coordinate employee lifecycle administration including starters, transfers, promotions, and leavers.
Support onboarding processes and ensure required documentation is completed on time.
Prepare employee letters, contracts, amendments, and other HR documentation.
Maintain organisational charts, employee directories, and reporting structures.
Assist with payroll preparation by checking employee changes and relevant workforce information.
Monitor probation periods, contract dates, and other employee lifecycle deadlines.
Support annual leave, absence, and attendance administration.
Respond to routine employee and manager queries relating to HR processes and records.
Produce data extracts and reports for management and workforce planning.
Assist with employee surveys and prepare summaries of participation and results.
Maintain confidential HR documentation in accordance with data protection requirements.
Support HR system updates, testing, and process improvements.
Identify recurring administrative issues and recommend more efficient workflows.
Assist with audits of employee records and HR documentation.
Prepare management information for scheduled people and workforce reviews.

Qualifications

Previous experience in HR operations, people administration, HR analytics, workforce reporting, or a similar role is preferred.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filters, and data organisation.
Experience using HRIS, payroll, or employee management systems would be advantageous.
Strong attention to detail when working with employee and payroll-related information.
Comfortable working with reports, spreadsheets, and workforce data.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information appropriately.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several HR processes at the same time.
Experience supporting onboarding, employee changes, or HR documentation would be beneficial.
Familiarity with UK employment administration practices is advantageous.

Pay: £3,300.00-£3,500.00 per month
