Cathedral View Childcare - Littleport are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Nursery Assistant - Maternity Cover (Temp to Perm for the right candidate) within our private setting based in Ely.

Our setting is a fantastic place to work, with a focus on progression, a real team spirit and a passion for working with children. The setting is closes its doors on December 23rd each year and does not reopen until the new year, allowing all staff to enjoy the festive period.

Throughout your role you are not alone, Cathedral View offer you full training, support and guidance to help you progress your career.

Working with children between the ages of 0-5 years, organising activities, being pro-active with the help and care carried out within the early years teaching sector.
Assisting and meeting the personal/emotional needs of individual children; changing nappies, feeding, caring and establishing a relationship with children.
To contribute to a high-quality caring environment for children. This includes creating a warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere in which the children can develop emotionally, socially and educationally through individual attention and group activities.
Help with maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the nursery, ensure the setting is well presented each day and safe.
Retaining confidentiality at all times.
Attending team meetings and contribute relevant ideas.

This position is part - time but there is the option for full time work for the right candidate.

Hours of work will be varying shifts between 7.30am and 6pm Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - Minimum 24 hours per week.

PLEASE NOTE - This position is not suitable for candidates who require work around school hours or term time only.

Salary dependant on skills, qualification and experience in line with our set pay structure.

Our setting offers all staff the opportunity to embark on an early years qualification where they do not already have one, but a qualification is not essential for this role.
