Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Book-keeper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and finance, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

3-5 hours per day Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and journals
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial discrepancies are resolved
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with year-end closing procedures
Collaborate with external auditors during audits
Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Utilise SAGE Accounting Software for efficient record-keeping
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
Proficiency in Sage accounting software is essential
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
A relevant qualification in accounting or finance is preferred
