Full-Time Front of House Team Member

Due to one of our long-standing and highly valued team members relocating overseas, an exciting opportunity has become available to join the Safari family on a full-time, permanent basis.

This isn't a role that comes up very often. We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable person who wants to become part of our small, close-knit team.

At Safari, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming atmosphere where every customer receives great food, great coffee and even better service. If you're bubbly, hardworking, enjoy dealing with people and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Front of House Team Member, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service from the moment guests arrive until they leave.

Your duties will include:

Welcoming customers with a warm, friendly attitude.
Taking food and drink orders accurately.
Serving food and beverages efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
Preparing high-quality barista coffees.
Assisting behind the bar (previous bar experience would be an advantage).
Processing cash and card payments accurately.
Keeping the restaurant, coffee station and service areas clean, organised and well stocked.
Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
Helping create a positive, enjoyable experience for every customer.
Supporting your teammates during busy service periods.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Friendly, bubbly and approachable.
Customer-focused with a genuine passion for hospitality.
A strong team player who enjoys working in a busy environment.
Reliable, committed and punctual.
Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn.
Able to remain calm and organised during busy periods.
Happy to work Saturdays and other weekend shifts as required.
Well presented with excellent communication skills.

Previous hospitality experience is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right person, so a positive attitude and willingness to learn are more important than experience.

Essential Requirements

Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Must complete Allergen Awareness Training within one month of starting.
Eligible to work in the UK.
Available for an immediate start.
