Warehouse Operative

Full-Time (40 hours per week) – Permanent

Position summary:

Established in 1987 Postscript Books is an ambitious mail order, catalogue and eCommerce company based near Newton Abbot, Devon. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team on a full-time basis.

Your responsibilities will include performing put away, replenishment, picking, and packing of both single and multiple orders, adhering to the expected standards. It is essential for you to have knowledge of warehousing principles and demonstrate a keen eye for attention to detail.

This is a physically demanding role which requires a high level of manual handling.

The key duties of the role are:

Goods In / Putaway
Picking & packing
Replenishing stock
Any other duties in line with the role

Skills and experience required:

A good level of literacy & numeracy skills
A team player
Warehousing experience
A clear understanding of Health & Safety within a workplace

Desirable Skills

The below skills would be advantageous:

Flexi / Counterbalance licence
First Aid / Fire Marshal training

Working Hours

40 hours per week, plus overtime where needed.

In addition to your contracted hours, you may be asked to work extra hours, as necessary, when needed.
