THE ROLE

We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Assistant Manager to support the General Manager and help keep the venue running smoothly from open to close.

You’ll be a key presence on the floor - supporting the team, solving problems in real time, and making sure every part of the venue is guest-ready. This is a varied, fast-paced role, perfect for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys responsibility, and thrives in an entertainment-led environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Guest Experience & Service

Support the delivery of warm, engaging, and memorable guest experiences.
Be visible on the floor, leading by example and setting the standard for service.
Assist with handling guest feedback and resolving issues quickly and professionally.

Team Support & Development

Help train, coach, and motivate team members across games, bar, and kitchen.
Support onboarding of new starters and ongoing team development.
Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high-energy team culture.

Operational Excellence

Support day-to-day operations across all gaming areas, bar, and kitchen.
Ensure all equipment (golf, bowls, darts, bowling, shuffleboard, clay shooting) is safe, clean, and fully operational.
Maintain excellent venue standards, cleanliness, and presentation at all times.

Stock, Safety & Compliance

Assist with stock ordering, rotation, and stock counts.
Carry out daily health & safety and hygiene checks.
Support compliance with licensing, food safety, and operational procedures.

Shift & People Management

Support rotas, staffing levels, and shift leadership.
Look after team wellbeing and communication on shift.
Step up to run shifts independently when required.

ABOUT YOU

Experience in a supervisory or Assistant Manager role within hospitality, leisure, or entertainment.
A confident, approachable leader who enjoys being hands-on.
Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable juggling priorities.
Calm under pressure with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Passionate about guest experience, teamwork, and high standards.
