Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Receptionist to join our hotel team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and guests, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. This position offers an opportunity to develop organisational and administrative skills within a dynamic environment. The role requires a friendly demeanour, strong organisational abilities, and proficiency with various office tools.

Duties

Greet visitors and guests in a courteous and professional manner
Answer incoming phone calls promptly, directing them appropriately
Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate bookings
Perform data entry tasks accurately using computer systems, such as Excel.
Maintain organised records and filing systems
Handle correspondence via email and postal mail
Assist with administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
Support team members with general administrative duties as required
Utilise Microsoft Office programmes for daily operations

Requirements

Proven office experience or clerical experience preferred
Previous receptionist experience essential
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Good typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
