Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Staff / Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills within a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the overall dining experience for our guests. The position involves working in a fast-paced kitchen, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a wide range of meals according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety regulations
Ensure all food is stored correctly and labelled appropriately
Monitor food stock levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Follow food safety procedures diligently, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
Support team members during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of dishes
Assist with menu planning and presentation to enhance customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent attention to detail in meal presentation and ingredient handling
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles is advantageous but not essential
