About Multifix

Multifix is an established family business formed in 1993 and has built up a reputation of quality, stock availability, technical back-up and personal service to the construction industry.

We are seeking a talented Design & Communications Executive (Maternity Cover) to join our marketing team at our head office in Boxley, Maidstone. This role is vital in shaping our brand identity and enhancing our digital presence. If you are passionate about design and communication within the construction supply sector, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities: Develop and implement branding strategies to strengthen our market presence.

To be the brand custodian, ensuring all materials are designed in line with brand guidelines and appropriate to our target audience.
Create internal and external communications, using multiple platforms for deployment.
Manage our External Lead Generator, ensuring sectors are targeted to plan and lead funnel is consistently replenished
Ensure consistency across all digital platforms.
Support video editing and photography projects as needed.
Stay updated with industry trends to keep our communications innovative.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in graphic design, web design, or digital marketing.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Basic HTML.
Strong branding and visual storytelling skills.
Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
Knowledge of UI design principles.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
A portfolio showcasing relevant work is preferred.

What you will be doing:

Communications: Creation of all internal and external communications:

Use of SEO principles and techniques to aid search and Google ranking.
Use of email, WhatsApp, and SharePoint for internal communications.
Use of Force24, website front end and social media platforms for external communications.
Shoot and editing support for Videographer as and when required.

Brand Custodian: To design all materials in line with brand guidelines and appropriate to target audience.

Keeping marketing content aligned to brand guidelines and company values.
Provide design support for innovation scoping pipeline.
Adoption of new and emerging design technologies as appropriate.
To work closely with NPD team to support product launches.

Ideation: To participate in ideation meetings, sharing opinions and ideas with Marketing team members.

Schedule workload in accordance with the agreed Marketing plan, including creation and delivery of campaign and social media plans.
Collaborative teamwork and open sharing of ideas for quarterly SPRINT plan.

Customer and Product nurturing: Creation and delivery of lead nurturing workflows.

Content creation to populate workflows.
Set data parameters to activate workflows.
Review previously disqualified leads to identify suitability for nurturing process.

Leads: Management of External Lead Generator.

Ensure sectors are targeted to plan and lead funnel is consistently replenished.

Competitors: Research and monitoring of competitor activity.

Review website content, email and social communications to create competitor activity summary.

Salary: £26,402.00 for 10 month period (equivalent to £31,682.00 per annum).

Start Date: 2 September 2026
