Job Overview

Slice Golf Oxford is a premium indoor golf simulator venue that combines sport, socialising, and hospitality in a vibrant and welcoming environment. We have created a destination where great golf, exceptional drinks, and outstanding customer experiences come together. We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and reliable Duty Manager to help lead our team, oversee daily operations, and ensure every guest enjoys a first-class experience.

Duties

Lead and supervise the team during shifts, ensuring excellent service standards are maintained at all times
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the venue, including golf simulator bays, bar service, and guest areas
Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest enquiries or issues professionally
Support and motivate team members, providing guidance and direction throughout service
Ensure the bar is well-stocked, organised, and operating efficiently
Manage opening and closing procedures and ensure venue standards are maintained
Coordinate events, group bookings, and busy service periods to ensure smooth operations
Assist guests with simulator setup and provide basic guidance on using the technology
Monitor cleanliness, health and safety, and compliance standards across the venue
Work closely with senior management to drive sales, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence

Qualifications

Previous experience in a supervisory, team leader, or duty management role within hospitality, leisure, or a customer-facing environment
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Confident working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
Reliable, proactive, and able to make decisions under pressure
Experience within hospitality or bar operations preferred
Interest in golf is desirable but not essential
Available to work evenings, weekends, and peak trading periods

Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16.0 per week
