Full job description

Role Overview

Support international currency operations by ensuring efficient transaction processing and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Execute and oversee foreign exchange transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor currency market trends to inform transaction timing and minimise risk exposure.
Maintain comprehensive records of all foreign exchange activities, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness.
Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to facilitate seamless currency conversions and settlements.
Assist in the development and implementation of foreign exchange procedures and controls.
Provide support in resolving discrepancies or issues related to currency transactions promptly.
Stay informed about relevant financial regulations and compliance standards affecting foreign exchange operations.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

Prior experience or strong knowledge in financial services, particularly within foreign exchange or currency trading environments.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure precision in transaction processing.
Strong analytical abilities to interpret market data and assess associated risks.
Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
Proficiency in relevant software applications utilised within financial operations.
A recognised qualification or background in finance, economics, or related disciplines is preferred but not essential.

Pay: £68,000.00 per year
