Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic E-Commerce Manager to lead and optimise our online retail operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong management capabilities, a solid understanding of digital marketing strategies, and excellent organisational skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth through innovative marketing campaigns, optimise website performance, and enhance customer engagement across various digital platforms. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the entire e-commerce process, from website management to marketing analytics, ensuring our online presence remains competitive and impactful.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies aligned with business objectives to maximise sales and brand visibility.
Manage daily operations of the online store, including product listings, pricing updates, and inventory management using platforms such as WordPress and other CMS tools.
Oversee SEO optimisation to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic.
Coordinate digital marketing campaigns across channels including Google Ads, email marketing, social media platforms, and B2B marketing initiatives.
Analyse website performance metrics using Google Analytics and other analysis tools; prepare detailed reports to inform strategic decisions.
Lead content creation efforts, including copywriting for product descriptions, promotional materials, and social media content.
Manage paid advertising campaigns and optimise ad spend for maximum ROI.
Utilise Adobe Photoshop for visual content creation or editing as required for promotional purposes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project management and timely execution of marketing initiatives.
Supervise a team of digital marketing professionals, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends in e-commerce, SEO best practices, IT developments, and digital marketing innovations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in e-commerce management or digital marketing roles with a strong understanding of SEO, social media management, email marketing, and B2B strategies.
Proficiency in WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft compelling copy for diverse audiences.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience managing teams or projects within a fast-paced environment.
Analytical mindset with robust analysis skills to interpret data insights effectively.
Knowledge of IT systems relevant to e-commerce platforms is highly desirable.
Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
A recognised qualification in digital marketing or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
