Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in accordance with our restaurant’s standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations to develop their skills within a professional environment. The Chef de Partie will work closely with the head chef and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards
Assist in the organisation and management of specific sections within the kitchen
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, including storage areas and equipment
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service periods
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste
Support junior kitchen staff through training and guidance as required
Contribute to menu development by suggesting new ideas or improvements

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
Good understanding of culinary techniques across various cuisines
Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving skills that enhance guest satisfaction
Strong attention to detail, ensuring consistency in dish quality and presentation

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
