Full job description

Station Taxis a premier taxi company, is seeking a reliable and experienced Controller to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction through our exceptional service, attention to detail, and commitment to efficiency. As a Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring our shifts’ smooth and seamless operation.

Primary responsibilities:

Leading and coordinating shift operations, ensuring excellent customer service and quick response times.
Allocating and dispatching jobs to our fleet of licensed drivers, effectively managing their availability and shift patterns.
Monitoring and ensuring adherence to company service standards and policies.
Identifying and resolving potential issues or challenges during the shift.
Effectively communicating with drivers, customers, and other team members on shift to provide accurate and timely information.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role is essential to ensure a smooth transition into the position.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
Strong verbal communication skills are essential to liaising with drivers, clients, and colleagues.
A calm and composed demeanour and the ability to make quick and effective decisions under pressure.
Knowledge of the area and the taxi industry would be advantageous.
Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. Each shift is 8-10h long
