Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Bar / Front of House team members to deliver exceptional customer service in a lively hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders, and ensuring guests have a memorable experience. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, along with a passion for hospitality and excellent communication skills. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic team dedicated to high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued
Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system
Serve drinks and food efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area at all times
Handle cash transactions accurately, providing correct change and processing card payments
Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and allergen information, to assist guests effectively
Support bar operations during busy periods, including preparing drinks and restocking supplies
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations in line with company policies
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during shifts

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable
Strong understanding of food safety standards and procedures
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods
Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and hospitality standards
Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
