Job Summary

Days and hours

Tues-Thurs one person 4 hours per week 8am-10am
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and previous janitorial experience to contribute to a professional environment. The position is paid and suitable for those seeking steady employment in the cleaning industry.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of offices, retail spaces, and other commercial facilities, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed.
Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the shift, ensuring all areas are presentable at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good organisational skills and reliability.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a professional environment where their skills in commercial cleaning are valued and utilised effectively.

Pay: £13.50 per hour
