Are you ready to dive into the dynamic world of digital assets? Our client, an FCA-regulated firm, who are at the forefront of providing institutional-grade digital asset execution, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join their Finance Team.

This role offers excellent opportunities for personal and career development within the exciting world of digital assets, providing exposure to a wide variety of accounting functions. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the team, managing purchase and sales ledger duties, assisting with month-end and year-end preparations, annual audits, budgeting, and forecasting, and being the first point of contact for any finance queries within the company.

Responsibilities

Leading the accounts payable process
Timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices
Raising and issuing invoices to their customers
Reconciling company bank accounts
Working closely with the Finance Director for timely preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting for senior management
Acting as the main point of contact with banking providers
Collaborating with the financial auditor for smooth and timely annual audit completion
Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting for senior management
Reviewing payroll with HR for staff in multiple jurisdictions
Working with the Tax Director and external tax advisers to prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with tax legislation
Reviewing and approving vendor payments
Assisting with finance-related queries from other departments

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Essential:

Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
2-5 years of experience in a similar role
Highly proficient with MS Excel
Practical, pragmatic, and enjoys working as part of a small team in a busy environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

Desirable:

Previous use of NetSuite accounting software
Experience with UK VAT reporting
Payroll knowledge
Understanding of FCA reporting requirements for regulated entities
