Job Description:

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling materials, managing stock, and supporting shipping and receiving processes. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

Responsibilities

Receiving goods from routine deliveries.
Manage stock levels by accurately picking, packing, and storing products within the warehouse.
Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage orders efficiently.
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of shipments against documentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse to promote safety and efficiency.
Perform regular checks on equipment, including forklifts, ensuring they are in good working order.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.

Qualifications

Supporting our e-commerce business with pre-packing items when workload can allow it.
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong skills in materials handling, with an understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift.
Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems will be beneficial for tracking inventory effectively.
Forklift certification is desirable; however, training may be provided for the right candidate.
A proactive attitude towards safety procedures and teamwork is essential for success in this role.
