Head Chef – Join the Creative Team at Nanas

Northowram, Halifax, HX3 7HYSalary: £35,000 per yearFull-time | 5–6 Days Per Week

At Nanas, we’re not your typical Indian restaurant. We’re a vibrant, busy Indian tapas restaurant passionate about creating unforgettable food, exciting flavours, and memorable dining experiences. We’re looking for a talented and imaginative Head Chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and wants to help take our food to the next level.

If you’re creative, hands-on, and believe that every plate leaving the kitchen should be exceptional, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading and inspiring a close-knit kitchen team.
Creating exciting, high-quality Indian tapas dishes with flair and consistency.
Working collaboratively with the team and leading by example.
Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation.
Supporting all areas of the kitchen—no job is too big or too small.
Managing food preparation, stock control, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations during busy services.
Helping develop new menus and seasonal specials that keep our customers coming back for more.

What We’re Looking For

An experienced chef with strong leadership skills.
A genuine passion for creative cooking and exceptional food.
Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and can motivate others.
Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Calm under pressure and able to perform in a busy restaurant environment.
A positive, hardworking attitude with pride in every dish served.
Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK.
