Join the Team at Gritt London

Join our vibrant team as a Hair Salon Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming environment for clients and support our talented stylists. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in the hairdressing industry. You'll work alongside our experienced stylists, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the salon while gaining valuable experience in a luxury salon.

This is a part-time role working 3 days per week, including 1 weekend day, with additional hours available to cover holidays and busy periods.

What You'll Be Doing

Greet clients warmly, providing a warm, professional first impression
Assist with front of house duties, such as answering the phone and booking appointments
Assist stylists with services like blow-drying and shampooing to ensure smooth salon flow
Prepare workstations with kit and supplies needed for various services
Keeping the salon clean, organised and presented to a high standard
Prepare refreshments for clients
Help to deliver a luxury client experience from arrival to departure

We're Looking For Someone Who

Has excellent customer service skills
Is friendly, reliable and well presented
Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team
Has strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
Can work efficiently in a busy salon environment
Has a passion for the hairdressing industry with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
