Van Driver

Stevenage Branch
Full Time | Monday to Friday + Alternate Saturdays

Join Grant & Stone Electrical

Grant & Stone Electrical supplies trusted electrical products, backed by knowledgeable teams and outstanding customer service. As part of the Independent Builders Merchants Group (IBMG), we combine local expertise with the strength of a leading merchants group.

We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Van Driver to join our team at our Stevenage Branch.

If you enjoy driving, working as part of a team, and delivering excellent service to customers, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

Delivering electrical products to customer sites and premises

Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently

Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders

Supporting warehouse operations and stock replenishment

Cutting and preparing customer cable orders

Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and safety checks

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment

Providing friendly and professional customer service at every delivery

Assisting with general warehouse and branch duties when required

What We're Looking For

Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

Previous delivery driving experience preferred

Warehouse, builders' merchant, or electrical wholesale experience advantageous

Forklift experience beneficial (training can be provided)

Good knowledge of the local area

Strong communication and customer service skills

Reliable, organised, and safety-conscious

Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 7:00am 5:15pm

Alternate Saturdays: 8:00am 12:00pm
