Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Bookkeeper and play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records that support our organization’s growth and stability. Duties

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as Xero to ensure accurate financial data entry and record keeping
Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts regularly to maintain up-to-date financial records
Process accounts payable by reviewing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments
Assist with accounts receivable tasks including invoicing clients and tracking payments
Support month-end closing activities by preparing financial reports and summaries
Maintain organized digital and physical files of financial documents for audit readiness and compliance
Collaborate with the finance team to improve bookkeeping processes and implement best practices

Skills

Proficiency in popular accounting software in Xero is essential
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, especially accounts payable management
Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and reconciliation tasks
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple responsibilities in a part-time schedule
Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and clarify financial information when needed
Familiarity with basic accounting concepts and financial reporting standards
