Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice, contributing to a positive patient experience.

Duties

Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations.
Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries effectively.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries with accuracy.
Coordinate communication between patients and dental staff to facilitate treatment plans.
Maintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.

Skills

Strong office administration skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Proficient in using office software and dental management systems.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
A friendly disposition with a strong customer service orientation.
Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential.
