Full job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland (LNR) All Age Continuing Care Service for a Band 3 Administrator.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working in a busy administrative function and ideally suit an administrator who wishes to providing support to patients and their families. Excellent oral communication and Interpersonal skills are essential as well as the ability to resolve queries and concerns from patients and families with empathy and diplomacy.

Candidates must possess strong organisational skills and be able to plan and prioritise their own work. Attention to detail is paramount as well sound knowledge and use of all other Microsoft office packages are essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational, communication, and data-entry skills, You will be professional, tactful, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a busy team. A strong work ethic, accountability, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential. Full training and support will be provided.

This role will require a minimum of 2 days ‘on patch’ working in Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland in our 2 main offices or partner sites”

The All Age Continuing Healthcare (AACC) Team is responsible for assessing, commissioning, and reviewing care packages for individuals who have complex, ongoing health needs and may be eligible for NHS Continuing Healthcare funding.

Made up of nurses and business support staff the team works closely with patients, families, carers, health professionals, local authorities, care providers, and other partner organisations to ensure that eligible individuals receive safe, effective, person-centred care that meets their assessed needs.

The overarching aim of the CHC Team is to ensure that people with significant and complex health needs receive the right care, at the right time, in the right place, while promoting dignity, independence, choice, and the best possible outcomes for individuals and their families

Your main duties will be to -

Provide a patient-focused, high quality, efficient and complete administrative support service and patient care experience.
Manage diary coordination for patients, their families and representatives alongside the clinical team for assessments and complex care administration.
The postholder will support meetings, maintain records and information systems, coordinate communications, and assist in preparing documentation to ensure effective delivery of complex care

You will be working for NHS Leicestershire , Northampton and Rutland (LNR) Integrated Care Boards in a joint team that covers the whole area covered by those counties .

The role includes a hybrid working pattern with 40% of the working week spent within the office
